Obituary for George Daly Sr. Print Mr. George N. Daly, Sr., age 88 years, of Jefferson City, Mo. , died Friday, February 15, 2019 at his home. George was born January 23, 1931 in Italy, Texas the son of the late Paul and Florene F. Biggs Daly.

He was married on September 25, 1949 in Columbia, Mo. to Virginia Phillips who preceded him in death on February 27, 2016. A resident of Jefferson City for most of his life, George was a 1949 graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia.

George was proud to be a state certified real estate appraiser. He spent many happy years in the real estate business with his wife, also an appraiser. He enjoyed sprint car races, fishing, camping, cooking, his family and pets.

Survivors include: three children, George N. Daly, Jr. (wife Judy) of Jefferson City, Mo. , Shelley Caton (husband Keith) of Jefferson City, Mo. , and Sari Schrepferman (husband Richard) of Wichita, Kansas; three grandsons, Jason Caton (wife Lori) of Columbia, Mo.

, Justin Light (wife Lauren) of Wichita, Kansas and Brian Caton (wife Tessa) of Sanger, Texas; three great-granddaughters, Delaney Caton, Mattea Light, Jameson Light and one great-grandson Lawson Daly Light, along with his devoted companion, dog LADY.
