George E. Scholl Sr., 75, of Horsham PA, passed on Saturday September 29, 2018 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born March 12, 1943 to Mardell Walter (nee Scholl) in Tarentum PA. George entered the US Army in May 1964 and served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967.

George married Rosemary Deneski on August 6, 1966 in Little Falls, NY. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Rosemary Scholl (nee Deneski). A daughter Tina Beniquez (Walter) of Ambler, a son Ted Scholl (Melinda) of Lansdale, and his grandchildren Kelsey Alford (Neal) of Beaufort, SC.

, Sabrina Beniquez of Ambler, Mariela Beniquez of Ambler, Janson Scholl of Lansdale, and Bree Scholl of Lansdale, and a great grandson Nathan George Alford. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Cindy Parisse (Michael), his brother-in-laws Richard Deneski (Eva), and Peter Wolf, a niece Lauren Sampson (Adam Stout), and a nephew Scott Sampson (Stacy Bell). He was preceded in death by his mother Mardell Walter, a sister-in-law Dee Dee Wolf (nee Deneski), father-in-law Frank Deneski, and a mother-in-law Louise Deneski.

George worked for Unisys for 33 years, and more recently retiring from AmeriHealth Adminstrators in 2013. George loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He liked the Philadelphia Eagles, and Penn State Football.

He also liked music and bird watching. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Thursday October 4, 2018 at 11am at St. Catherine of Sienna RC Church, 321 Witmer Rd. , Horsham PA 19044.

Viewing in church from 10am to 10:45am. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Legion (www.
