George J. Kruisenga Jr., 66, of Interlochen, passed away April 27, 2019 with his loving family by his side and ESPN playing in the background. He was born to the late George Sr. and Patricia (Allen) in Grand Rapids, on December 9, 1952. George was one of six children whom are all still working to share his memories.

Christy, Stan, Kathy, Karen and Sharon. Growing up, some of the best pastimes were playing football on the hill with the neighborhood and many other games. George proudly served his country with the Army for 4 years and then the Marines for 3 years, being honorably discharged from both lines.

Although George could best be described as private and quiet, he had the heart of gold and all acts for his family were selfless. He was a very dedicated man, a true rock and roll enthusiast and often times noted as stubborn and hard headed. He is survived and missed dearly by his children; Jason, Connie and James as well as his siblings and his mother.

He is preceded in death by his father. The family is being cared for by the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
