George L Lafferty, 77, of Wabash, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2019. He was born in Prestonburg, Kentucky on March 2, 1941 to Ashland Lafferty and Martha (Gray) Lafferty. George worked at Wabash Alloys for many years and retired from there.

George is survived by his wife Betty Lafferty; son Curtis Lafferty, of Wabash; daughter, Sherri Lafferty, of Wabash; a sister, Shirley Blair of Prestonburg, Kentucky; Nephews, Jackie Woods and Luke Woods, of Prestonburg, Kentucky; Niece, Sherry Cambern, of Wabash; and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. Calling hours will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992.
