OBITUARY George Matthew Cooper Sr. April 1, 1948 – September 20, 2018 George Matthew Cooper, Sr. of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. He was 70 years old. George was a proud Navy Veteran who served from 1967 to 1970.

He was a Lifetime Member of the Cortlandt Hook & Ladder, Peekskill and Columbian Hose, Peekskill. Among his many interests George was an avid Civil War Enthusiast. He is survived by his beloved wife Sally; devoted daughters and son, Lisa Waterhouse and her husband Anthony, Abigail Sweeney and her husband Donald and George Matthew Cooper, Jr. and his wife Michelle Fiorino; cherished sister, Rosemarie Leake and his adoring grandchildren, James, Matteo, Mia, Ryan and Evan.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 5pm- 9pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd. , Montrose, NY.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 24th at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
