George Samuel Henderson went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 14, 2018. George was a loving Father and Grandfather. He loved spending time on the creek bank fishing.

He loved to help people and was a friend to many. He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Henderson and his Grandson, Zaylin who called him “Pop Pop”. Brothers and their spouses, Fabian Henderson of Sugar Valley, Joey and Jenifer Henderson of Sugar Valley, Damon and Maria “Ree” Henderson of Resaca, Sisters and their spouses, Angie Bennet of Resaca, Frankie and Michael Shipman of Cohutta.

Nieces, Brooke Bowling, Abby Shipman, Kendra Bennett, and Brianna Bennett. Nephews, Isaac Henderson, Roman Henderson, Ethan Cronan, Joshua Cronan, Malachi Henderson, Elijah Henderson and Cole Henderson. Mother-in-law Judy Pair and Best Friend Keith Van Dyke.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon Funeral Home on Friday, October 19th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, October 20th from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 4:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Damon Henderson and Dewayne Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Buddy Shipman, Michael Shipman, Gary Sherriff, Keith Van Dyke, Elijah Henderson, Colby Wilson, Roman Henderson, Malachi Henderson, Ethan Cronan, Joshua Cronan, Cole Henderson and Isaac Henderson.
