George W. Lowrey went to be with his Savior November 2, 2018 with his wife and children at his side. He was a missionary in Lavac Philippines. He pastored Living Water Baptist Church in Lavac.

His ministry in the Philippines began January 25, 2009 under his carport at his home. George was a very loving and understanding husband. He was a loving father who said what he meant and meant what he said.

For example, if we did not wake p when he told us to, the water, whether from a cup or a hose, was poured on our faces. He was a prankster and loved paying jokes on everybody. In honor of George, the family invites all to a visitation that will be held at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel Sunday evening from 6-8 pm.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel Monday at 10 am with Brother Davis of the Central Baptist Church in Alvarado, officiating. Internment will follow at Bethany Rest Cemetery in Alvarado. George is preceded in death by his parents, wife Charlotte Lynn (Jameson) Lowrey, sister Shirley Lowrey and sister in law Viloteta Aquino.

Survivors include his wife, Elisa (Limos) Lowrey; Children: Shelly Brownlee and Robert, George Wayne Lowrey and wife Melissa, Stacy Lowrey and Manuel, Steven Lowrey and Linda and Sherry Lowrey; Grandchildren: Joshua James Brownlee and Alaina, Steven James (JJ) Lowrey, Scott Lee Lowrey, Logan Moncrief, Shawn Michael Lowrey, Hunter Allen Andrews, Noah Andrews, Madison Andrews, Lorenzo Alexander Granado, Consuelorene Granado, Sebastian and Santnna Granado; Siblings: Wille E. Lowrey Jr. and Vera, Glen Lowrey and Karen, June Landers, Janice Yates, Debbie Lowrey and Janet Shortnacy; Nieces and Nephews: Kellie Howington and Jody, Kenny Perkins and Angela, Kenneth Ray Aquino, Vernice Julia Limos, Shaira Faith Limos and Mark Wendell Aquino; Brothers in Law: Celso Limos and Vivian, Albino Limos and Marlyn, Jhun Aquino and a host of others.
