George Wade Palmer, age 88 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Behavioral Health Care in Martin, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mr. Palmer will be conducted on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Hanks and Bro.

Scott Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee. He was born February 25, 1930 in Dyer, Tennessee; the son of the late John and Flora Hunt Palmer.

He was a retired machine operator at Brown Shoe Company and member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Palmer is survived by two daughters, Brenda Cunningham (Donald) and Charlotte Palmer; two grandchildren, Christy Hinton (Brian) and Jonathan Dotson (Mandy); and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. George Wade Palmer.
