OBITUARY George M. Wood January 21, 1926 – October 19, 2018 George M. Wood, born January 21, 1926 to Cecile and Daniel Wood in Rose, New York passed away October 19, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by Mary, his beloved wife of 58 years. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia A. Wood, his sons, Daniel T. And Thomas A. Wood and his wife, Stacy; grandchildren, Angela, Christina, Victoria, Daniel, Jr., Ricky, Anthony, and Zachary; great grandchildren Sarah, Holly, Sophia, and Alivia; and by many other family members and friends.

George served in The Navy during World War II. He was a life long employee of Garlock, Inc. His sense of humor and infectious smile will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Texas Liberty Chapel at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow.
