Obituary Gerald Bennett Harris, age 73, of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Emrick and Arlene Harris; brothers, Jimmy and Charlie Harris. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Jeremy Southerland of Tunnel Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Bridgette Harris of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Ester and Ron Tomlin of GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Betty Harris of MI and Burton and Retha Harris of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Silas and Sydney Ledford, Dakota, Shelby, Haley and Lance Harris; great-grandchildren, Taylin and Kynsleigh Harris; nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Harris will be held on Thursday.
