Gerald D. Perman, 67, of Amboy, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was born on December 22, 1950 in Parkston, South Dakota to Alvin and Elsie (Pietz) Permann. He married Bonnie Miller on September 10, 1983 and recently celebrated their 35th anniversary with their family.

Gerald had a passion for gardening, traveling and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from General Mills after 39 years of service. Gerald enjoyed spending the last 11 winters in Florida.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; daughters, Angela (Bruce) Coleman and June (Brian) Roberts; step-daughters, Cindy (Michael) Seagraves and Lisa (Murphy) Poulda; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jolene (Frank) Nikkila and Donna (Vern) Simmons. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Lyle and Darwin Permann; grandchildren, Kayla Jo Hyser, Kody Henry and Allen Henry; great-grandchild, Kaylee Henry.
