Obituary for Gerald “Jerry” Bostron Gerald R. “Jerry” Bostron, 78, lifelong Cheyenne resident, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Life Care Center. He was born April 19, 1940 in Cheyenne, a son to Henry and Henrietta (Bade) Bostron. Jerry married Imogene Hammond on March 11, 1961 in Cheyenne and they made their home here.

Jerry worked as a taxidermist for Frontier Taxidermy. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and raising chickens and turkeys. Survivors include his children, Ivan “Tad” (Linda) Bostron of Burns, WY; Tammy (Jay) Rosenlund of Skiatook, Oklahoma; Jackie (Kraig) Murphy of Torrington and Jeffrey Bostron of Cerrillos, New Mexico; eight grandchildren, Chance Mistarka; Kaleigh Scheiding; Trisha McCarty; Jace Becker; James Bostron; Kristy Thomas; Cole Bostron; Jacob Bostron; and two great grandchildren, Connor and Summer; a brother, Larry Bostron of Washington; and two sisters, Elizabeth Carrico of Alaska; and Patricia Hickman of Washington.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Imogene on October 4, 2001; his parents; and brothers, Don, Chuck, and Eddie Bostron and two infant brothers. Private Family Services have been held. Honorary Casket Bearers were Levi Scheiding and all of Jerry’s grandchildren.
