Johnathan Nickerson, June 28, 1974 — May 22, 2018

Obituary for Johnathan Nickerson Johnathan Thomas Nickerson, 43, of Burns, WY, died May 22, 2018 at this home. John was born in Cedar Springs, MO on June 28, 1974. He grew up in Burns and Cheyenne.

He loved the outdoors: camping, fishing, hiking, climbing, anything to keep him outside, and the season didn’t matter. “The mountains are the only place I truly feel alive”, he said. He liked to make people laugh and could find humor in anything, “Jerk them tears and throw em’ on the floor, get over it, move on”.

He died how he lived, his way, with his own rules. He was a carpenter and facility manager. He was also, a good friend.

Survivors include a daughter and two older brothers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Lloyd and Carolyn Faye Nickerson. A Celebration of Life will be June 9th at Holiday Park West from 2-5 PM.
