Obituary for Lee R. McKenzie Lee R. McKenzie, 79, of Cheyenne, died on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Lee retired as a Master Sergeant after 26 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1881 and American Legion Post 6, and enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and playing solitaire on the computer. He is survived by his wife, Lois McKenzie; children, Roy McKenzie of Cheyenne, James McKenzie of San Diego, California, Cathy McKenzie of Cheyenne, Karl Scott McKenzie of Germany, Howard McKenzie of Cheyenne, Robin Peck of Port Orchard, Washington, and Michael Yates of Kent, Washington; a brother, Jesse McKenzie, Jr. of Jacksonville; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Lee was preceded in death by a son, Lennie James McKenzie, three siblings, and his parents. Memorial services will be Thursday, 6:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Lee R. McKenzie please visit our Sympathy Store.
