Obituary for Gerald L. Beier Gerald L. Beier, age 81, of China Township, passed away July 3, 2018. He was born February 20, 1937 in China Twp. to the late Lillian and Leroy Beier.

Gerald married DyAnn Dunham on May 12, 1962 in Peters, Michigan. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2009. He enjoyed outdoor sports and evening campfires.

He honorably served with the U.S. Army in Germany and was a retiree from Chrysler Corp. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon L. (Michael Jr.) Debano of Jeddo, Mich and Kathleen A. (Douglas) Barnes of Kimball, Mich. Grandchildren, Michael III, Brian, and Amy Debano and a sister, Doris Leonard of St. Clair.

Cremation has taken place and the family will receive visitors Sunday July 8th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A private family service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
