Gerald R. Lockard, Jr, 67, of Alum Bank, passed away, Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 at home. Mr. Lockard, was born in Roaring Spring, on April 23, 1951, the son of the late Gerald R. and Elma (Allison) Lockard. Gerald was the widower of Judith E (Heidorn) Lockard, whom he married on September 5, 1970 and she preceded him in death on February 23, 2009.

He is survived by Son- Kenneth L husband of Shelley (Strayer) Lockard, New Paris, ; Daughter- Melissa K. wife of Alvin Ledbetter, Augusta, GA; Daughter- Cynthia S. wife of Randy Snowden, Schellsburg, ; Sister- Marie Gilpin, Fishertown; Brother- James Lockard, Osterburg; Sister- Margie Lockard, New Paris; Sister- Julia Bowers, Hyndman; Sister- Polly Nault, Taylor, MI; Sister- Dawn Cox, Queen; Sister- Jessica Crum, Queen; Step Mother LaVerne Lockard, Osterburg. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren-Presley, Nathanael, Hannah, Kayla, and Eileen, and 1 great grandson-Jayden. Gerald was preceded in death by a grandson Reese Mr Lockard was a truck driver for over 30 years, driving for Sturdy Built, Wakeman Trucking, and Corle Building Systems.

A funeral service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, at Noon on Saturday, June 16th, 2018 with Pastor James Espenshade officiating. Interment at Fishertown Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Saturday 11 Am – Noon at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
