Obituary for Geraldine Bliesner (nee Zielinski) Passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018. She was born on April 24, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to Mary (nee Waldoch) and Frank Zielinski. Gerry attended Bay View High School, graduating in 1946.

After high school, she worked as an operator and bookkeeper at Wisconsin Bell. There she met her future husband Lawrence “Butch” Bliesner. They married on November 26, 1960.

They enjoyed 47 years of marriage before Butch’s death in 2008. They were blessed with 4 children, Brian (Pam), Beth, Bridget (Bob) Andersen, and Barry, 9 grandchildren, Anna, Rose and Rita Bliesner, Calvin (Colleen), Erin, Melanie (fiance Tyler), Ethan, Regan, and Sydney Andersen, and one great-grandson Ellis Andersen. She is also survived by a brother Bob (the late Nancy) Zielinski, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, husband Butch, brother Dan, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Irene and Dick Kupfer, and grandson Nathan Andersen. Gerry was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls since 1963. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 13, 6 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave.

, Menomonee Falls. Visitation Friday at the Church from 4 PM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Anthony Building Fund would be appreciated.
