Forbes, Geraldine D., of Boston, Massachusetts, passed peacefully on January 10, 2019. She leaves her loving daughter Tanya E. Forbes-Parkman, son in law Willie D. Parkman and grand children Trent Forbes (wife Bernadette Reyes-Forbes) and Toya Parkman. She was blessed with two great grand children Tatum and Tyla Forbes.

She had such a loving heart that when her sister Gloria passed away she became the second mother to Marlyce Ricker (husband Stephen Ricker) and she was also a loving nana to Troy Miller and Tiana Ricker and great grandma to Samai Miller. She was predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Alice Forbes, her brother Howard Hall “Uncle Pete”, and her sisters Catherine E. Shepherd, Gwendolyn F. Kelley, Gloria M. Miller and Rosetta Butts. Visitation with family on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 10-11 AM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Celebration of Life Service will start at 11 AM also from the funeral home. Interment will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA 02131. To leave condolences for the family visit www.
