Geraldine’s Obituary Geraldine(Lee) Costiloe, age 92, a longtime Wapanucka, OK resident. She was born on Wednesday, October 13, 1926, to Harold and Minnie (Channell) Lee, at Coleman, OK. Geraldine grew up helping her mother and father farming gardening and canning.

Geraldine passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, OK. She graduated from Coleman High School where she played basketball and softball and was known county wide for her softball pitching skills. Geraldine was a homemake with 3 children before becoming a Headstart Teacher where she taught from 1965 – 1999.

She loved being a teacher and loved every student she ever taught. If she taught you then you were forever referred to as one of her kids. She married John F. Costiloe on Sunday, December 16th, 1945 at Wapanucka, OK.

They enjoyed 73 years of marriage before her passing. Geraldine was a longtime member of Wapanucka Methodist Church until its closing and there after attended First Baptist Church of Wapanucka. She was an avid OU football fan, college basketball, professional baseball, basketball and football.

Geraldine also enjoyed horse racing, loved high school basketball and was proud supporter of Wapanucka FFA. Geraldine is survived by her husband, John F. Costiloe of the home in Wapanucka, OK; daughter, Donna Costiloe of Wapanucka, OK; son, Kent Costiloe and wife Carrie of Wapanucka, OK; grandchildren, John Logan Costiloe of Durant, OK, Matthew Costiloe of Durant, OK, Suzanne Johnson and husband Jerry “Shawi” of Coelman, OK, Dale Costiloe of Wapanucka, OK; great grandchildren, Kenlynn Costiloe of Durant, OK, Matti Costiloe of Wapanucka, OK, Rance Wheeler of Oklahoma City, OK, Jayton Johnson of Coleman, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Minnie (Channell) Lee and son, Ronald Costiloe.
