Stauffer, 75, of Tiffin, passed away at 10:58 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin. Geraldine was born on May 24, 1943, in Fostoria, to the late Clarence and Emma Rose (Kiefer) Kin. She first married Borden Emshoff and they later divorced.

She then married William B. Stauffer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on September 11, 1976 and he survives in Tiffin. Survivors include her children, Tim (Tammy) Emshoff of Tiffin, William (Karen Reyes) Stauffer of Juneau, AK, six grandchildren, Brandon, Cadin and Ryan Emshoff of Tiffin, Roman Williams of Findlay, Mindy and Willy Stauffer of Juneau, AK, a great-granddaughter, Holly Stauffer of Juneau, AK, two brothers, Don (Barb) Kin of Tiffin and Jim (Ladora) Kin of Florida. Geraldine worked at Hayes-Albion until they closed.

She then went to Terra State and graduated as an Registered Nurse and later retired from Americart in Fostoria. Geraldine was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a 1961 graduate of New Riegel High School. Geraldine was a United States Navy Veteran serving during Peacetime.

Geraldine was a wonderful wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She saw the good in everyone and would help anyone she could. Anyone who knew her was better because of it.

She was definitely one of God’s angels on earth. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Trina Emshoff and Sharlene Stauffer and a grandson, Cory J. Sigler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2019 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev.

Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, from 4-7 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin.

Burial will follow services on Friday, at St. Boniface Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
