Gerard A. Dupuis, Esq. 1937 – 2019 Inlet, NY Gerard A.”Jerry” Dupuis, 81, of Inlet, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 31, 1937 in Berlin, New Hampshire, the son of Phillip and Marie (Mercier) Dupuis.

Jerry graduated from Indian Lake High School and then received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and then earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1960-1972, during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was honorably discharged with the rank of Full Lieutenant. Gerard was an attorney and practiced Corporate Litigation for several Wall St. law firms in New York City.

He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Inlet, USS Little Rock Association, American Bar Association and the American Legion. Jerry was an exercise enthusiast and did so daily for at least a half hour prior to work and this routine continued in retirement. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities including, gardening, skiing, snowshoeing and golf.

Jerry was very involved with groups that surrounded the Adirondacks, especially the Fulton Chain of Lakes Performing Arts Council. Surviving are his brother, Roger; daughters, Laura Caruso and Amy Dupuis-Katz; sons, Michael Dupuis and Jonathan Dupuis and 8, soon to be 9, grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 10 from 6-8 pm at Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 128 Fern Ave.

, Old Forge. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 11 at 1 pm from St. Anthony of Paduas Church, Inlet, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
