Geri Chiasson, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 65. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jerry Chiasson; sons, Cade Chiasson and wife Shasta, Jacob Chiasson and wife Karen, and Clint Chiasson and wife Shannon; and grandchildren, Raegan, Kaia, Rhett, Maddie, Connor, Alex, and Maddex. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Josephine Gros; and brother, Larry Gros. Geri was a devoted wife, mother and GiGi .
