Obituary for Mrs. Gertrude M. Casey Gertrude M. Casey (nee Rogers) age 96 years of Gibbstown died August 4, 2018 in her home. Mrs. Casey was born and raised in Philadelphia and lived in West Wildwood for over fifteen years before settling in Gibbstown. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael’s Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Anthony T. Calista V.F.W. Post #5579, Gibbstown.

Mrs. Casey was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed trips to the casinos, scratch off lottery tickets and York peppermint patties. She is survived by her children, Gertrude Pihs of Gibbstown, Joan and Michael Warren of Mexico; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren and her brother, Charles Rogers of Lindenwold. Mrs. Casey was predeceased by her husband, John Casey; her sons, Frank and John; her grandchildren, Toby, Dave and Terry and a great grandson, Zachary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday August 7, 2018 in St. Michael’s Church, 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning after 10 AM until Mass time. Arrangements by McBride – Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro.

Interment will be private. Memories can be shared at www. mcbridefoleyfh.com.
