Gertrude “Trudy” Thomas Dobson, 64, of Resaca, GA died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her home. She was born in Erie, TN on November 28, 1954, daughter of the late Manuel Cleve and Bertha Weaver Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Dobson; her brother, Andrew Hoppy Thomas; and sisters, Zona Chesney, Arletta Gunter, and Una Fay Broglin.

Trudy was a member of the Rome Native American Pow Wow, and a member of the Calhoun Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Survivors include her sisters, Mary Jean Silvers, Shirley Carpenter, and Christine McCarroll, all of Madisonville, TN, Clara Elliott of Cleveland, TN, and Linda Sue Crabtree of Rockwood, TN. A Memorial Service to honor the life of Trudy Dobson will be held Sunday, February 10th at 1:00 PM, from the Calhoun Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 455 McDaniel Station Road SW, Calhoun, with Elder Ed Richardson officiating.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
