Obituary for Gil Shonkwiler Mr. Gilbert “Gil” Joseph Shonkwiler, 31, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2018. Funeral services will be announced at a later date. Gil was a native of California and had lived in Milledgeville.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Ann Shonkwiler; and grandfather, Charles S. Jacobs. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Renee Shonkwiler of Matoon, IL; father and stepmother, Craig and Terea Jacobs of Eatonton; sister, Bambi Jacobs of Eatonton; and brother, Robert Jacobs of Seattle, WA.
