Gilda S. Spanish Gladys, 94, of Belle Vernon, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp. Born October 14, 1924 in North Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rose DeRosa Spanish Forsythe. A resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Gladys was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, and was retired from Wal-Mart, where she worked as a greeter.

She is survived by two sons & daughter in law Gary E. & Sandy Gladys of Elizabethtown, Gregory R. Gladys of Rostraver Twp. ; granddaughter Kimberly Gladys; two great grandchildren and a sister Norma Gillo of Belle Vernon. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Gladys (1995); a sister Jean Nogy and a brother Frank Spanish.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Francisco R. Gan Jr. Pastor as celebrant.

Entombment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Gilda Gladys Tuesday at 3 PM in the funeral home.
