She transitioned from her earthly home July 16, 2018 to her heavenly home . She was a collector of antique shoes to display and a lover of shopping for unique and beautiful garments and accessories.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Village Drive where she was formerly on the usher board, pastors aid and event committee. She leaves to cherish precious memories, her son, Adrian LaShun Henderson; grandson, TaQuartney Jordan; father, Robert Henderson; sister, Allanna ( Squirt) Drummond; brother, Alexander (Georgia) Carter; nieces, Lakesha Henderson and Morgan Carter; nephews Justin Carter and O.J. Gray ; great-niece, Keazia Ballard and Uriah Gray; a devoted great-nephew, Devon Henderson, great nephews, Landyn ( Buddy) Henderson and Jacob Gray; uncles, Garrett (Estelle) Knotts and Harvey Henderson; aunts, Elizabeth Henderson and Louise Owens; two best friends Deb Mason and Modestine Richards, a host of cousins, other relatives, friends and Class of 1971 classmates.
