Funeral service for Gladys Mae Baggett, age 87 of Cunningham, will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00PM at Sykes Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Harvey Cemetery in Cunningham. The family will visit with friends on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM and again on Saturday from 11:00AM until the time of service.

Gladys passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Wayne County, Michigan to Lewis and Ruby Grant. She attended Lone Oak Baptist Church and was a beautician for 32 years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Baggett, brother Lewis Grant, Jr., and sisters: Sarah Arms, Margaret Smith, Rebecca Raddotz, and Dorothy Kennedy. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Mayfield, brothers: Rodney (Bev) Grant and Benny Grant, grandchildren, Jody Mayfield and Heather (John) McIntyre, great-grandchildren: Austin, Makayla, and Kristen, and great great-granddaughter Julianna. Pallbearers will be: Douglas Smith, Austin Mayfield, Gerald Grant, Wade Smith, Rodney Grant, and Benny Grant.
