Gladys C. Despaigne entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Maywood Center for Health, Maywood, NJ. Of Maywod, NJ, she was born in Havana, Cuba and lived in East Rutherford before moving to Maywood. Gladys is predeceased by her husband Manuel Garmendia and her siblings Carmen, Candida, Cesar and Ramon.

She is survived by loving children, her daughter, Carmen Garmendia and her son Manuel Garmendia. Also, by her cherished grandchildren, Emanuel Pozuelos, Manuel and Samuel Garmendia. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, from 6 – 8 pm.
