Obituary for Gladys Noble Gladys Noble, age 74 of Lake Villa, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She was born on July 24, 1943 in Sassafras, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Manetta Owens. Growing up in Kentucky, she eventually found her way to Illinois where she enjoyed spending time.

She was a lover of gardening, painting, and an avid Yahtzee player. She was quite the character all throughout her life; it was never a dull moment with her. Her family knew she meant business when she said “I don’t mean nothing by it”.

She rode in the motorcycle charity run for Toys for Tots during the holidays. Gladys was a family woman, acting as a mother and caregiver to everyone. Loving mother of Darlene (Rich) Kusek, Diane (Margie) Noble, Doris (Sammy) Amburgey, the late Donna (Fleetus) Pridemore and Randall Jr. (Elizabeth) Noble; cherished grandmother of Richard (Sara Puentes) Kusek, Christopher (Hunter) Kusek, Lea Kusek, Joseph (Jackie) Noble, and Sammy (Katherine) Amburgey, Markie Kusek, Edwin Noble, Stephanie Noble, Anthony, Noble and Bessie Pridemore; beloved great-grandmother of Juwain “aka Boo”, Amir, Logan, Nana, Maddie, Kendra, Baby Markie, and Tucker; and caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Beauledith, Baxter, and Douglas. A visitation will take place on Saturday September 8, 2018 from 3 – 7 pm at Ringa Funeral Home 122 S. Milwaukee Ave Lake Villa. Cremation will take place privately.
