NORTHBRIDGE — Gladys M. (Rajotte) Kaminski, passed away at the Rose Monahan Hospice in the arms of her loving daughter, on September 21, 2018. Gladys is survived by her daughter Sharon Curtin and her husband Kevin, of Northbridge; her granddaughter Jennifer; greatgranddaughters Lindsey, Abigail and Haley, two brothers; Joseph Rajotte, of Sutton and Ronald Rajotte, of Worcester; two sisters, Shirley Noel, of Gardner and Gloria Cournoyer, of Whitinsville; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Raymond Kaminski; her sister Bertha Dumas of Upton; and two brothers, Gerard Rajotte and Rosaire “Ross” Rajotte, both of Northbridge.

Gladys was born on September 18, 1931, a daughter of the late Omer and Opalma (Baril) Rajotte. She was raised in Northbridge and lived here most of her life. She took great pride in being a wife, mother and homemaker.

She loved cooking and baking for family functions and parties hosted at her home. Gladys cherished family and friends. She was a devout Catholic and lifelong member of St. Peter’s Church in Northbridge.

She also attended a Bible study group for many years. The family would like to extend their thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Naravane, Dr. Naroian, Dr. Black, Patricia Eklund, Deb Schonborg, the nursing staff in the Dialysis Unit at St. Vincent Hospital, and Blackstone Valley Livery for the exceptional compassionate care they have provided the family throughout the last several years. Friends and relatives are invited to Calling Hours on Tuesday, September 25, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.

A Mass and Christian Burial will be held September 26, at 10:00 AM at St. Peter’s Church, Northbridge. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. Donations in Gladys’ memory may be made to the St. Peter’s Church Renovation Fund, 39 Church Ave.
