OBITUARY GLADYS ROBINETTE December 27, 1925 – December 3, 2018 Gladys W. Robinette, born December 27, 1925 in Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on December 3, 2018 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, A.C. “Sonny” Robinette after 59 years of marriage. Gladys is survived by her nephew, Robert Silverthorne of Denton, North Carolina; nieces, Rebecca Silverthorn of Jefferson, Wisconsin, Bessie Stallings (Tony) of Lenoir, North Carolina, Vickie Trojcak (Frank) of San Antonio, Texas, and grandson, Adam Trojcak,; and her cousin, Ruth Norman of Enid, Oklahoma.

Gladys was a member of the Texas Retired Educational Secretaries Association and National Association of Educational Office Professionals. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, and retired from Lackland I.S.D., where she worked for 34 years. Gladys had a love for traveling and she and her husband went on several cruises including Caribbean, Alaska, the Panama Canal and the Mediterranean.

She loved spending time with family and friends and had a generous heart and a passion for life. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caregivers at Lakeside Assisted living for their loving care. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
