He was born on June 30, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of the late Ralph and Clara Moeller. Glen was born and raised in the area of Minneapolis, MN and found his love of horticulture and the outdoors at a young age.

In 1968, he met the love of his life, Sue Fredeen, and they were married in January of 1969. Glen and Sue then travelled the United States by truck before falling in love with Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. They then settled in Corvallis Montana and in 1971, established Moeller’s Nursery.

To help support their growing business, Glen and Sue also began working at Purdue Woodworks building Montana-Made furniture. Glen applied his passion for all things green to his new business venture, and he and Sue started their family in 1974. Glen was especially proud of his children and grandchildren and cherished his family time.

Following their tenure at Purdue, Glen peeled logs for log home construction, and also worked with the US Forest Service. His untiring devotion to farming and family led to the Moeller’s becoming a well-respected fixture in the Bitterroot valley over the next 47 years. Glen was especially proud of the reputation he established for growing the best sweet corn in all of Montana.

Glen’s pride in agriculture was apparent to all those around him. It truly was a labor of love. Glen Moeller’s deep knowledge of farming, coupled with his outgoing personality always made a lasting impression on all of those with whom he interacted.

Springtime will always be brightened by his legacy, and the blooms of the new year will forever remind us of the color he brought to the world. Glen is survived by his wife Sue of Corvallis, as well as his four children and four grandchildren. His beloved dog Tuk will also miss him dearly.
