Obituary for Glenda Faye Gamblin Mrs. Glenda Faye Gamblin, age 74, of Palmetto passed away on October 7, 2018. Glenda retired from the City of Atlanta Traffic Court as Deputy Director in 2000. She was the director of music for many years at East Point Avenue United Methodist Church.

Glenda was a member of the Dixie Redcoat Band at the University of Georgia and taught line dancing for many years for the cities of East Point and Palmetto. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Renard & Lucille Langley; son, Todd Elliott Crider; step-son, Wayne Gamblin; sister, Nonnie Christopher and is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ralph Gamblin of Palmetto; daughter, Claire (Derek) Jackson of Douglasville; step daughter, Karel (David) McKinney of Greenville; step sons, Barry (Heidi) Gamblin of Columbus, Paul (Julie) Gamblin of Grantville, Ben Gamblin of Madras, & Timothy Gamblin of Elkridge, MD; sister Marie Carswell; brothers, Boyd (Andrea) Langley and Kevin Langley; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday October 14, 2018 at 4 o’clock in the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www. parrottfuenralhome.com.
