Obituary for Glenn Homesley Graveside service for Glenn “Pete” Homesley, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Glenn “Pete” Homesley passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born January 5, 1934 in Godley to J.T. and Sadie York Homesley.

He married Betty Joann Reid on September 1, 1962 in Cleburne. Mr. Homesley proudly served in the United States Army and worked as a security supervisor for General Dynamics, retiring with 30 years of service. He was a member of Henderson St. Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Joann Homesley of Cleburne; daughter, Kelly Hanna and Bill Taylor of Burleson; son, Kevin Homesley and wife Karen of Grandview; grandchildren, Jennifer Williams and husband Michael of Blum, Nick Hanna and wife Alyssa of Garland, Samantha Green and husband Derek of Grandview, Blake Hanna and wife Stacey of Decatur, and Josh Homesley and wife Heather of Grandview; great grandchildren, Lane Williams, Landyn Williams, Madison Hanna, Carter Hanna, Luke Green, Parker Green, Ryder Homesley, and Jaxon Homesley; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Sadie Homesley and two brothers, Louis Homesley and Danny Homesley.
