Obituary for H.A. Bicknell Service for H.A. Bicknell, 96, of Burleson will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Terry Williams and Jack Dunaway will officiate. Burial will be at Greenacres Memorial Park.

H.A. died November 24, 2018 in Burleson. He was born July 4, 1922 in Johnson county to Hiram Austin and Maude Florence (Jones) Bicknell. H.A. married Bobbie Jo Reed on August 30, 1947 in Rio Vista.

She preceded him in death. H.A. was a mechanic in the automobile dealership industry. He is survived by his children Elaine Maples and husband Steve of Cleburne, Sandra La Gow of Burleson, Carolyn Evans of Burleson, Ronnie Bicknell of Cleburne and Philip Bicknell of Burleson, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister Billie Smith of Grandview and numerous additional family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Elizabeth Bicknell in 1949, wife Bobbie Jo Bicknell in 2009 and grandson Steven Douglas “Doug” Maples, Jr. in 2013. To send flowers to the family of H.A. Bicknell, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
