Life Story for Beatrice “Bea” Gibson (Gilliland) Beatrice “Bea” Gibson passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 in Keene. She now has perfect memory and freedom from all her struggles, resting in the arms of Jesus. She was born January 3, 1927 in Tokia, Texas to Cisero James and Lola Beatrice Porter Gilliland.

Mrs. Gibson was raised in Fort Worth and moved to Cleburne in 1949. She met her husband Jim Loyd Gibson and they were married on August 5, 1950 in Cleburne. She was a day care provider known as Granny Bea by all the children she took care of.

She was a long time member of College Heights Baptist Church. Service for Bea Gibson, 91, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 8, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. John Childers, Mike Wadley and Pastor Josh Breslaw will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemeterry. Pall bearers will be Aaron Wadley, Greg McGraw, Tony Goolsby, Jimmy Worlow, Trent McFarland, Colin Mauer and Cory McGraw. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Survivors include husband of 68 years; Jim Gibson; daughter Nancy Worlow and husband Bobby of Cleburne; daughter Denise Wadley and husband Mike of Atlanta, GA; daughter Jeannie Childers and husband John of St. Louis, MO; daughter Phyllis McGraw of Cleburne; sister Dolores Starnes and husband Phil of Bedford; grandchildren, Chanda McFarland and husband Billy, Jimmy Worlow and wife Stefanie, Christy Goolsby and husband Tony, Aaron Wadley and wife Jill, Cara Wadley, Amy Childers, Jennifer Childers, Cory McGraw, Greg McGraw and wife Naomi; 8 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, and brothers Carl Gilliland, Kenneth Gilliland, Quinton Gilliland and J.C. Gilliland.
