Glenwood Lee Williams, 92, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Mr. Williams was a prominent businessman in Fayetteville for many years, as owner and pharmacist of Fayetteville Drug Company. He was very active in the Vander community and his church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Sue Williams and a special friend of the family, Tammy Green of Garner; a son, Michael Williams and wife, Twyla; two sisters, Vonita Page of Dunn and Patricia Fisher of Stedman; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday, December 14, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm (noon) on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children’s Miracle Network, childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/donate.
