Gloria Jean Wright, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 10, 2019. Gloria was born to Cleveland Collins and the late Mildred Collins on December 31, 1945. She had a strong faith in God and was healed of lung cancer in 2018.

Gloria was a long-time member of Atlantic Beach Assembly of God – she truly loved her church family. Her favorite pastimes were cooking and fishing. She was a true and loving friend and will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends.

Gloria is predeceased by her husband, Norman Wright, and daughter, Tina Green. She is survived by her father, Cleveland Collins; siblings, Irma Collins and Marshall Collins; daughter, Rhonda Hutto, (Donnie); and sons, Larry W. Green, Jr. and Wade Boan, Sr. (Sharon). Gloria loved and adored her grandchildren: Gregory Hutto, Garrett Hutto, Wade Boan, Jr., Heather Brown, Jeffrey Wright and Chrissy Wright; as well as her great grandchildren: Anastasia Hutto, Grady Hutto, Brayden French, Chloe Brown, Mason Brown, MaKinnah Wright, William Wright, Ava Wright, Jeffrey Wright, and Aleyna Wright.

She was the epitome of a doting grandmother and didn’t mind spoiling her grandchildren. A Viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in the chapel of Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, FL. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. at Atlantic Beach Assembly of God, 680 Mayport Road, Jacksonville, FL.

Reverend Donnie Hutto will be officiating. A Burial will be held immediately following the service at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd. , Jacksonville, FL.
