Born in Laredo, Texas, she lived there, and Wood Ridge befor moving to mRidgefield Park. Prior to her retirement, Gloria was a waitress at the Arcola Country Club in Paramus for over 15 years.

Previously she was a Chef for the Conklin Family of Hackensack, and a waitress at the Apple Ridge Country Club in Mahwah. She was a parishioner of our Lady of the Blessed Assumption R.C. Church in Wood Ridge. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late William Nichols, Sr., devoted mother of Claudia Puzo, and her husband Richard, in Mahwah, Susan Ostek of Teaneck, Jacqueline Bruno, and her husband Aldo, of Ramsey, and the late William Nichols, J., loving grandmother of Claudette, Daniel, Jacqueline, John, Priscilla, Carey, Peter, Billy, and the late Dwight, and great-grandsons Nikolai and Ivan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Saturday, 9:30 AM, from the Kohler Funeral Home, 280 Hackensack Street, Wood Ridge, and 10:30 AM at oyur Lady of the Blessed Assupmtion R.C. Church, Wood Ridge. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Friday evening 5-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations tp St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude POlace, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, in memory of Gloria Nichols, would be appreciated.
