Born in Plainfield, she was a lifelong resident. She was formerly employed as a private duty nurse for the Morecraft family in Dunellen, NJ for many years. She was a member of Rose of Sharon Community Church in Plainfield.

Gloria is predeceased by her son Willie C. Goggins; her mother Hattie Gardner and sister Peggy Roberts. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters Dolores A.
