Obituary for Grace Barratt Millward Grace Barratt Millward, 86, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2019 in West Valley City, Utah. Grace was born on December 1, 1932 in Twin Groves Idaho. She was the daughter of Ella (Cazier) and Lester James Barratt.

She grew up in Pocatello, Idaho where her father worked for the railroads. Grace attended Pocatello High School and then attended Brigham Young University. She married her sweetheart, Gene C Millward, on November 1, 1956 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

They lived in Inkom, Idaho and Las Vegas, Nevada before moving to the beautiful Grace valley in Idaho where they raised their family and lived the majority of her life. She lived with her daughter Amy who lovingly cared for her the last four years of her life. Grace was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed cooking and baking, knitting and crocheting and was especially gifted in her love of family history. She spent countless hours researching and putting together family history books for her family and loved ones. She was always soft-spoken and kind and would help anyone in need.

Grace was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions in her ward, She loved the people she served and made many life-long friends through these associations. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was actively involved in that organization for many years. Grace is survived by her six children, Drew (Micki) Millward of Goddard, Kansas, Robyn (Don) Lloyd of Blackfoot, Idaho, Gina (Robert) Kusnier of Salt Lake City, Utah, Ronda (David) Barth of Bountiful, Utah, Amy Millward of Salt Lake City, Utah and Shawn Millward of Frisco, Texas.

She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and her boys Gus and Elvis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene C. Millward, her parents Lester and Ella Barratt, and brother, James Cleve Barratt. Funeral services for Grace will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Wilks Funeral Home located at 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, Idaho with a viewing one hour prior to services.
