Gregory’s Obituary Gregory A. Wilkes, 71, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019, in Orlando, FL. Born January 30, 1948, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Victor Kemp Wilkes and Helen Marker Wilkes. His wife, Carol R. Wilkes died in 2004.

He retired from the Washington County Board of Education after teaching for 31 years. He is survived by his daughter Emily Jones of Ocoee, FL and his brother Philip Wilkes of Williamsport, MD. A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave.

, Hagerstown with Rev. Stan Steele officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elks National Foundation, c/o BPO Elks Lodge 378, 11063 Robinwood Dr., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
