Guillermo Ortiz, 76, was called by the Lord on July 6, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cenobia Penn & Macario Ortiz. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Sanjui Resendez Ortiz, children: Linda (Javier) Cardenas, Guillermo Ortiz Jr., Oscar (Nayda) Ortiz, Graciela (Leroy) Martinez, Sam Ortiz, Rudy (Yvette) Ortiz & Deborah (Mario) Cantu, 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, siblings: Homero (Gloria) Ortiz, Josefina (Daniel) Torres, Elvira (Daniel) Aguilar, & Beatriz (Gilbert) Meza, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the Gamez & Sons Chapel where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery.
