OBITUARY Guy Allison Hamilton October 24, 1921 – January 25, 2019 Guy A. Hamilton, 97, of Houston, Texas, passed away January 25, 2019. He was born in Yuma, Arizona on October 24, 1921. Guy graduated from Coleman High School and received his Masters of Business Administration from Hardin-Simmons University.

He was married to Berniece Hamilton on December 17, 1946. He worked in several Texas hospitals as administrator and retired from Blue Cross in 1984. Guy was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston, and had a passion for his walk with Christ and telling others.

Guy is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Berniece. He is survived by his children, Richard Hamilton (Kathy) and Janice Friesen; grandsons, Mark Hamilton (Jennifer), Keith Hamilton (Christie) and Todd Hamilton (Cherish); and great-grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Rachael, Ryan, Breeleigh, Aleighna and Kathryn. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. with a Chapel Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Entombment with follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tallowood Baptist Church Library, 555 Tallowood, Houston, Texas 77024, in honor of Guy Hamilton.
