OBITUARY Guy Barker August 24, 1948 – November 30, 2018 BARKER, Guy William “Bill” 70 of New Carlisle passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at home with his loving family at his side. Bill leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 48 years Betty (nee Gibson) Barker, son Randy Barker, two granddaughters Samantha and Shelby Barker. Also surviving are his sister’s Virginia Grigsby, Darlene Gray, Carol and Garry Fraley; brother’s Nicky and Judy Barker, Tim Barker, numerous niece’s and nephew’s.

He was preceded in death by three sister’s Kathleen Fyffe, Lovene Spencer, Betty Wagoner and brother Evan Barker. Bill was a retired carpenter and construction worker having worked on the Ervin J. Nutter Center and numerous parking garage’s and bridge’s throughout the area. Bill became a Christian in 1975, he loved to garden, cut grass and enjoyed helping Randy raise and show pigs.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, Monday, December 3, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 507 West Jefferson Street, New Carlisle. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be 11:00 am Tuesday, December 4 at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Skaggs presiding.

Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to the BURCHAM TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, FAIRBORN. Contributions in memory of Bill may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
