Guy H. Martin 91 of Emmett, passed away October 11, 2018 at a Meridian Hospital. Guy was born on Dec 24, 1926 in Emmett, Idaho to George and Hazel Martin. Guy graduated from Emmett High School 1944 and joined the Navy.

He moved back to Emmett and married his high school sweet heart Ruby Van Cleave and had their first child (Linda). In 1951 Guy and family moved to southern California to pursue a new career in the Aerospace industry as a machinist. While in California Guy had two more children (Mike and Guy Jr.) He lived in California for 20yrs.

and enjoyed outdoor activity with his kids and friends. In 1971 Guy moved back to Emmett to help his parents and found work as a machinist to support his family. Guy was widowed in 2005 when Ruby passed away.

Guy retired in 1995 residing in Emmett and enjoyed golf, motor cycle rides and camping, fishing and the rest of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents (George and Hazel), wife (Ruby) and sister (Wanda). He is survived by his daughter Linda Casselman of Oregon, son Mike Martin of Nampa, Idaho, son Guy Martin of Tacoma, Washington, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday October 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
