Guy Lemond, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his home. Guy was born to Frederick and Ada Lemond in Wood County, TX. He graduated from Abilene High School.

Guy married Merle Curbo Keesee on July 8, 1988 at Harbor Point, North Lake Brownwood, where they’re union was blessed with four children and 3 step-children. He worked as a painter, insurance salesman, volunteer fireman and EMT on North Lake Brownwood volunteer fire department. Guy was an elder of North Lake Community Church, where he also taught Sunday school.

His family remembers him as a loving father and quite the joker. He enjoyed being outdoors tending his yard, fishing and just being on the lake. Guy was a big fan of old western movies and watched them faithfully.

Guy is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Merle Keesee Lemond; sons, Greg Lemond and wife Lisa, Russell Lemond and wife Linda; daughters, Diane Baird and husband Ronnie, Rene Blanchette; step-children, Tony Keesee and wife Kristie, Mindy Keesee, daughter-in-law Darla Keesee; brothers, Doyle Lemond and wife Betty, Carl Lemond and wife Doris; sister Beth Mahaffey; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, numerous niecies, nephews and many friends Guy is preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Karl Keesee; great grandchild, Kiley Croft; sister, Mary Pierce; brothers, S.C. Lemond and Erwin Lemond. In lieu of flowers family would like donations to be made to: C.O.P.S.
