Obituary for Gwendolyn “Gwennie” Leimomi Chai-Sandon Gwendolyn Leimomi Chai-Sandon, 74 of Honolulu, passed on Wednesday November 7, 2018. “Gwennie” was born on September 19, 1944 in Honolulu to Harold Chai and Esther Leleo. Gwennie is survived by her three children Darnell (Bill) Fehoko, Rhonda (Kat) Shin and Jacque (Nette) Shin is grandmother to Feao Fehoko, Semisi Fehoko, Ilaiasi Fehoko, Leeana Gabina, Brandon Pizarro Goings, Braden Pizarro Goings, Serenity Ho, Nicole Rutkiewicz, Robert Rutkiewicz, Travis Rutkiewicz, Ikaika Horowitz and her second husband Larry Sandon.

She was also the second born of 13 children, survived by her brothers and sisters; Genevieve Chai, Germaine Siafuafu, Glenda Chai Kamakana, Hilton Chai, Hamilton Chai, Harrison Chai and Harrington Chai. Services will be held at Hawaiian Memorial in Kaneohe to begin at 5:30pm with dinner to follow. Casual attire.
