Hanley “Hank” Eli Wood, 65 Hanley “Hank” Eli Wood, 65, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away on February 28, 2019 at his home. He was born July 27, 1953 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; the son of Mason and Sylvia (Clark) Wood. Hank moved to the Silver Valley in 2017.

He previously lived in Sandpoint, Idaho for 27 years. Hank married Vera Beth Waterman in Arizona in 1978 and had two wonderful daughters, Elizabeth and Stephenie. Hank spent many years working in construction but do to his giving heart, also cared for the disabled.

Hank had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, and camping. He also loved horses and guns. Hank is survived by his children: Elizabeth (Justin) Collins of Athol, Idaho and Stephenie (Anthony) Pendergraft of Priest River, Idaho; his ex-wife, Beth Wood of Priest River, Idaho; his daughter Emily (Brent) Collins of Rathdrum, Idaho; his son, Abraham Waterman of Sandpoint, Idaho; two brothers, Paul and Gordon Wood; his sister Katie Remington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Hank was preceded in death by both parents, Mason and Sylvia; and two sisters, Eva VanDemark and Pattie Marsh. The family suggests that memorials be made to the donor’s choice to their local church or favorite charity. One may sign Hank’s online guest book at www.
